Volume of Pyramid - Integration

Use this diagram to help teach the derivation of a formula for the volume of a pyramid using integration
We all know the formula for the volume of a pyramid. Now we can derive it with integration. This is a square-based pyramid. It is 'lying down' along the x-axis. First find the area of the square cross-section as a function of x at any point along the x-axis. Then integrate that function to find the volume of the pyramid.
