Copy of Midsegment Action!

In the applet below, the orange segment that will eventually appear is said to be a midsegment of triangle. Interact with this applet for a few minutes, then answer the questions that follow. Be sure to change the locations of the triangle's 3 white vertices each time before re-sliding the slider!
Questions: 1) How would you define the term, "midsgement of a triangle"? Explain. What exactly is it? 2) After interacting with this applet, what two conclusions can you informally make about the midsegment of any triangle? List them. 3) Formally prove your two conclusions now using the format of a 2-column, paragraph, or coordinate geometry proof.
