# Functions With Higher Order Derivatives

## Functions With Higher Order Derivatives

This GeoGebra applet demonstrates an example of a differentiable function that fails to have second derivative at x=0, and an example of a function that has first two derivatives but not the third. Use check boxes to select functions and their graphs. Use Show/Hide Axes buttons to see graphs and corners clearly. After observing these graphs and functions, student is advised to construct more functions of this type, and also a function with first three derivatives but not the fourth.
