Formula for "Obstructed Height" on a Sphere

When an observer looks at a distant building, part of it will be hidden behind the Earth's curve. But how much will be hidden, and how does the amount that's hidden depend on the observer's height and the building's distance? We show the formula for that dependence here. See http://www.slideshare.net/JamesSmith245/derivation-of-formula-for-obstructed-height-on-a-sphere for the derivation.
