Continuity of a piecewise defined function

This applet allows you to key in any three functions to act as the left, middle and right functions used to define a piecewise function.
You can use the two parameters a and b in your function definitions, and adjust the minimum and maximum values of their sliders.
You can show the piecewise function by clicking on the check box.
You can drag the cutpoints at which the piecewise function changes, or key in specific values in the relevant input box.
You can choose which function specifies the value at the cutpoints by selecting the 'less than' or 'less than and equal to' signs in the function definition.
