The daily race

This applet shows the daily run of the sun over day (blue sphere) and fullmoon at night (dark sphere). In addition a morning star (MS) and evening star (ES) are illustrated. The earth's observer is located in the sphere's center. The daily orbit depends on the degree of latitude and the season; both can be varied on the left side. The yellow area is the so called eclipse, the area of the earth Orbit around the sun.
