SSS: Exercise 2

The SSS ("Side-Side-Side") Triangle Congruence Theorem states that if 3 sides of one triangle are congruent to three sides of another triangle, then both triangles are congruent. In the applet below, use the transformational geometry tools of GeoGebra to show that triangle ABC is congruent to triangle DEF. Once you have done so, click the text (Toolbar Image) tool and type a response to this prompt: How do you know SSS is valid for any pair of triangles in which all corresponding sides are congruent? In other words, SSS works for the pair of triangles below, but how do you know it will always work? After doing this, save the file (call it "SSS-2") and make it "public".
