Linear System Application

The coordinate system below represents the number of products, y, that a business markets x hours after the business' initial launch.
Part 1
1) Explain why the model for Business A is partially solid and partially dotted.
2) State the domain as an inequality and in interval notation.
3) State the value of the y-intercept and interpret its meaning.
4) State the value of the slope and interpret its meaning.
Part 2
5) Graph a model for Business B such that Business B has a higher number of products initially marketed and such that Business B markets products more slowly than Business A.
6) Graph a model for Business C such that Business C has zero products initially marketed and such that Business C markets products three times as quickly as Business A.
7) Take a screen shot of the coordinate system containing all intersection points of the models for Business A, Business B, and Business C.
Part 3
8) Write a linear function, f(x), modeling Business A. Be sure to include the restricted domain.
9) Write a linear function, g(x), modeling Business B. Be sure to include the restricted domain.
10) Write a linear function, h(x), modeling Business C. Be sure to include the restricted domain.
