As the value of b increases, the terminal side of the angle creating the wave rotates more quickly. The result is that the period of the function decreases and the wavelength shortens. Values of b less than one slow the rotation down increasing the period and wavelength of the function. (The content of this worksheet was developed from earlier work done by Ted Coe.)
