Ferris Wheel

Mr. Gleeson's Ferris Wheel

Have a look at this Ferris Wheel animation. You can control: radius, middle point, period(time), and you can choose to show or hide lines that indicate the minimum, maximum, and middle heights, as well as a line that follows the height of the rider(orange dot). Also have a look at the Curve part. I have already written the curve in the form of: . Can you find the curve's correct values for: a, k, c? If you can, the orange dot will track the curve perfectly. Also, do you understand why the function works well for this Ferris Wheel? Ask if you're not sure!
