Inscribed Angles

Inscribed angles and the central angle that intercepts the same arc.

Using the circle tool, create a circle. Label the center A. Construct two more points on the circle (DO NOT USE THE ORIGINAL POINT THAT CAME WITH THE CIRCLE- this point will re-size the circle) Label the two additional points C and D. Construct segments AC and AD. Measure angle CAD. Fill in the blank in statement number 1 in the text box. Construct point E on the circle and construct segments EC and ED. Measure angle CED. What do you notice about the relationship between the inscribed angle and the central angle? Move points C, D, and E to see if the relationship stays the same. Fill in the blank in statement number 2 in the text box. Take a snap or a screen shot of you work and submit to "4 Inscribed Angle" assignment on Schoology. This is worth 10 points.
