Finding the Slope of the Tangent Line

The interactive applet below allows you to look at what happens when you construct the line through two points on the graph of a function and then move the two points closer together. The applet allows you to control the horizontal distance between the two points and shows you the limit calculations. To change the function, type into the input bar:
