NLAW - a game of kinematics

for Ellen, Elisabeth, Charlotte & William, whose dad and his siblings played this game many years ago ! The object of this game is to move the YELLOW dot counter-clockwise around the track in as few steps as possible. You move time forward in discrete steps by pressing the MOVE button. If MOVE is set on coast the dot moves without changing velocity. If MOVE is set on kick there is a change in velocity. - the size of the change in velocity is determined by the kick strength slider. - the direction of the change in velocity is determined by the orientation of the direction vector. Figuring out how to turn a corner will lead to a deeper understanding of the vector nature of velocity and acceleration. What questions could / would you put to your students based on this applet ?
