Use the shapes to create the cat.

For this assignment you will play with the geogebra application to answer the questions. This will familiarize yourself with geogebra which we will use for this Unit.

Find the formula for the area of a circle using the formula for the circumference.

Here is another example of how to find the formula for area of a circle.

Similar triangles have the same angle measures. Play with the slider bar and notice how the ratio of the sides of the triangles changes.

Move and resize triangle ABD so it fits on top of triangle BCD. Are these similar triangles?

The sides of similar triangles must be paired correctly. Which sides of Triangle ABD are similar to which sides of Triangle ABC?

How is angle AOC related to angle BOD? How is angle COB related to angle DOA?

There are only two different angle measures in this picture. Which angle numbers are equal? Can you make all angles equal?

A Rhombus is two sets of parallel lines. Identify the two pairs of parallel lines. Which line segments are always equal? Which angles are always equal?
