Introduction

A Polygon with an Infinite Number of Sides?

Have you ever noticed that a stop sign (regular octagon) looks kind of like a circle from far away? If there were more sides, it might look even more like a circle. In this activity, you are going to approximate the perimeter and area of a unit circle (r = 1) using regular polygons.
