Barycentric coordinates and center of mass
The point E is the center of mass of a system where a given total mass is divided into proportions a,b,c of matter placed at vertices A,B,C (so a+b+c=1 is the total proportion of matter). So
E=aA+bB+cC
a+b+c=1.
