Pythagorean Theorem Visual Justification

Does it make sense that the area of the larger square is equal to the sum of the four congruent triangles and the smaller square? Use this information with the variables a, b and c as well as with the values shown to help justify the Pythagorean Theorem. Adjust the positions of the lower vertices and see if the relationships still hold true.
