Exploring Geogebra and Basic Constructions

The purpose of this lab is to familiarize yourself with Geogebra and how to make create constructions (angles, rays, segments, etc.). Therefore, each member of your group must complete this activity and will receive a grade reflecting their work. However, since you are working in a group, your answer sheets may be similar, but make sure that each member is using the Geogebra App and uploading screenshots of original work. This is the only way that you will get comfortable using this Geometric tool.

Use the Point Tool to Create a Point. Use the show label tool to label it.

Use the line tool to create a line. Use the point tool to create one more point on your line. Use the Show/Hide Label tool to label all of the points on the line.

Change the line tool to a segment tool. Create a line segment, and use the Show/Hide Label tool to label the endpoints.

Change the line tool to the ray tool, and use the Hide/Show Label tool to label the points.

Change the line tool to a segment tool. Create a line segment. Change the point tool to a midpoint tool, then click on the line segment. Use the Show/Hide Label tool to label on 3 points. Change the angle tool to the distance tool, and click on all 3 poi

Angles

Now, let's move on to creating and labeling angles.
Change the line tool to a ray tool. Create a ray. Create another ray that shares its vertex with your first way. Use the Show/Hide Label to label your new angle. Click on the Angles button and click on the 3 points of the angle to measure the angle.
