Improper Integrals (Type 1)
If the limit of f(x) as x ->∞ is 0, we can sometimes make sense of the integral of f(x) from 1 to ∞ by taking a limit of the integral of f(x) from 1 to t as t goes to ∞. Below we measure the integral of f(x)dx from 1 to t for various t.
(f(x) = 1/x² initially.)
- Drag the slider to change the value of t.
- Type "f(x) = ___" to change the function.
