The Eye

The diagram shows how two rays from a point object are focused by the eye.
Move the slider to move the object away from the eye.
Notice:
- how the lens changes shape to keep the image on the retina,
- the angle between the rays changes as the object moves further away,
- when the image is relatively far away ("infinity") the rays are almost parallel.
