Tessellation
The process or art of tessellating a surface, or the state of being tessellated. An arrangement of shapes closely fitted together, especially of polygons in a repeated pattern without gaps or overlapping.

La tassellazione è un disegno costituito da tanti pezzi con le seguenti regole:
- Tutti i pezzi hanno la stessa forma
- La stessa dimensione (per la maggior parte)
- Non sono sovrapposti
- Non hanno spazi vuoti tra l’uno e l’altro.
