SSS Congruence Investigation

Different triangles with the same set of edge lengths.

If we have 3 fixed lengths how many different triangles can we make? Two triangles are called CONGRUENT if all the lengths and all the angles are identical. That is, if one were placed on top of the other they would be identical.

How many different triangles can you make with lengths 3, 5, 7?

Did you find any set of lengths with which you can make more than 1 non congruent triangle?

What conclusions can you draw? This is known as Side Side Side congruence.
