Cylindrical Fuel Tank

The fuel gauge on a lorry is broken. It's a cylindrical tank and the drive creates a dip-stick to give him an idea of how much fuel is left.
Marking a point 20cm high on the dip-stick would measure half way, but what height would the driver need to mark on to see when he had 1/4 of fuel left?
Prove mathematically.
