Sphere Surface Area
This GeoGebra construction is inspired by the many graphics on the internet that use citrus fruits to demonstrate the formula for the surface area of a sphere. The discerning Math aficionado should question how me may be assured that the surface area is preserved during the "morphing" stage.
The graphic below is from this Mammothmemory.net page.

On a related note, a calculus connection may be formed between the volume and surface area of a 3D sphere. Similarly, this other GeoGebra construction demonstrates a calculus connection between the area and circumference of a 2D circle.
