Rhombus Activity
In the activity, ABCD are vertices of the rhombus. Start by dragging each vertex around to manipulate the figure. While manipulating, make observations; take note of what is changing and what is not.
1) State at least two observations you noticed while manipulating the rhombus?
2) As you manipulate the rhombus, what measurements change? Which ones stay the same?
3) Can you create another shape using this rhombus? If so, what is that shape?
4) After answering the questions above, come up with your own definition of a rhombus.
