Snell's Law-Light from One Material to Another

Author:
Sue Popelka
The black horizontal line is the boundary between two materials. Light strikes the surface at a given angle of incidence and then is refracted in the other material. You can change the angle of incidence by moving the blue dot to the left on the incident ray. You can also change the index of refraction of both materials by using the sliders.
