Perpendicular Bisector

If a point lies on the perpendicular drawn through the midpoint of a line segment, then the point is equidistant from the endpoints of the line segment. Move either point, A or B, to notice the line stays a perpendicular bisector. Move point C along the perpendicular bisector to see the relationship between points A, B and C.
