Angular Harmonics

This applet features a bunch of points each moving in a circle with segments connecting consecutive points... and each consecutive point is moving faster than the previous point. More specifically: There are 500 segments that are connecting 501 points. The points are numbered 0 through 500 and each point's distance from the center is the square root of its number. The point #1 is rotated the angle (adjusted by the slider), point #2 is rotated twice that angle, point #3 three times that angle, etc. (Point #0 is always at the center). To view this applet full-screen, click the little rectangle ("[ ]") within a circle in the bottom right corner of the applet.
