Conjugated profile Generation
If you set a profile (red straight line that forms the Original profile) to a disc (light grey) and we roll it on another fixed disk (dark grey) We get a series of successive positions of the profile. The envelope of the profile in all those positions
-The envelope of the Original profile (in red) is the conjugated profile (in blue). The normal line to the
profiles conjugated at the point of contact (P) goes through the Primitive Point (A).
