Sports Car Distance

Suppose the equation for the velocity of a sports car is given by: V(x)=100(1-0.9^x) where V(x) is in feet per second and x measures the seconds since acceleration began, 0 < x < 60. How far will the car travel in the first 30 seconds?
Since the area for 0 < x < 30 is an irregular shape, we can't use one of our known area formulas. We will estimate the are by making rectangles. Click the check box for left rectangles to see what this looks like.
