Why ratio difference is the same?

Given a triangle ABC, AM is the median to the line BC. P is a point on line AC, and BP intersects with AM on point Q. Prove that BQ/QP-CP/PA = 1. (Hint: Add a line CQ and consider areas of several triangles)
