LogarithmicSpiral

The Spiral Zooming Effect

As the spiral spins, it appears to spread out. When the spiral is composed of osculating circles and the whole disk spins, it appears as if the core circle oscillates around to make a spiral wave rippling out exponentially. This effect shows the relativity between rotational and scaling transformations. See the Spiral Ripple Effect for the relativity between rotational and translational transformations.
