To construct a perpendicular from a point to a given line

Much like bisecting an angle, construct an isosceles triangle and bisect the base. Exp: 1. With the point (c) as centre scribe an arc to cut the line. This will construct the two equal sides of the triangle. 2. Bisect the base line (as you would any other line) to find a perpendicular.
