Copy of Absolute Value Slider explore and Target Practice.

Step 1: Explore the absolute value family of functions. Step 2: Put your skills to the test and see if you can input parameter values to get the desired graph.
Step 1: Explore the absolute value family of functions with sliders How would I move the graph up and down? Which slider is controlling that vertical slide? How would I move the graph left and right? Which slider is controlling that horizontal slide? How do I control how wide open the v shape of the absolute value is? Which values of the slider "a" stretch the graph? Which values of the slider "a" compress the graph? How does the value of "a" relate to the "slope" of each leg? How would I reflect the graph? Manipulate all three sliders, and try writing the equation of the absolute value WITHOUT the "show Slider Equation" checked. Step 2: Challenge Version, Plug in values for a, h,k to match the target graph.
