Traveling Points Function Arts

Left window: Points A, B, and C are on the bottom-left corner of a square. When you click Animate button, they will travel on the square with rates a, b, and c. Right window: A', B', C' trace the graphs of the ordered pairs (a', T), (b', T), and (c', T) where a', b', and c' are the distances traveled by A, B, and C, respectively, from the bottom-left vertex of the square. T the area of the triangle formed by A, B, and C. How to use: 1.) Determine the rates of the points A, B, C by moving sliders a, b, and c on the left window 2.) Click the Animate button to animate the points, click on Stop to stop the animation on the left window 3.) Use the check box to show/hide A'B' and C'. 4.) Refresh the page to return the points to their original positions.
