Inscribed Equilateral Triangle

Follow these steps to construct an equilateral triangle inscribed in a circle.

1) Using the LINE TOOL, create the diameter through B. Click on the LINE TOOL, click on A, then click on B 2) Using the POINT TOOL, label point C as the the other endpoint on the diameter. This SHOULD NOT BE a purple point, the point should be black 3) Using the COMPASS TOOL, create a circle with radius AB and center point B Click on the COMPASS TOOL, click on B, then click on A, then click on B again. 4) Using the POINT TOOL, mark points D and E where circle A intersects circle B. These SHOULD NOT BE purple points, the points should be black 5) Using the SEGMENT TOOL, draw a segment from point D to point E. 6) Using the SEGMENT TOOL, draw a segment from point E to point C. 7) Using the SEGMENT TOOL, draw a segment from point C to point D. RESULT: Equilateral triangle DCE inscribed in circle A.
