Dilations Demonstration
Dilating a point
Drag the center of dilation, C, and the point to be dilated, A.
Select the scale factor of the dilation by using the input box.
Click show triangles to see how to dilate point A.
Directions
Change the center of dilation by dragging the center.
To change the type of polygon, use the top slider.
To change the scale factor, use the input box.
To see how to determine the coordinate of the image of a vertex, use the lower slider to select the point and then click "Show Triangles to ..."
To see the image of the polygon, click "Show Image". To show/hid the rays, click the button "Show/Hide Rays"
