Examine the similar triangles created by shadows from the sun.
The yellow line represents the suns rays.
You can move points A and D to adjust and move segments AB and DE.
BC is the shadow from AB and EF is the shadow from DE.
Use the green slider to adjust the angle of elevation to the sun.
Compare the ratios for the red sides to the blue sides.
