Other tiles

Further in his article Hankin describes how other tiles can be derived starting from a decagon. Upper left within a hexagonal figure he calls 'spindle' is drawn. When completing the construction the bow ties appear, which we know already from the article of Lu and Steinhardt. Hankin adds that the combination of decagons and bowties is often used. He says he doesn’t know how the figures were used but suggest they were cut out of cardboard.
