Sketch Sheet: Assignment #14 Question #4
Sketch #1
On this sheet in heavy outline to the right of the y − axis is only a portion of a complete figure. The complete figure has rotation symmetry. The center is the origin and the smallest positive magnitude for any rotation that will map the figure onto itself is 90 ̊. Sketch what could be the rest of the figure. Since rotations preserve lines, you need only concentrate on the images of three points.
Does the complete figure have reflection symmetry? If it does, add to your sketch so that any lines of symmetry are shown.
