3.7 Constructing Points of Concurrency - Investigation 2: Circumcenter

Right Triangle - Perpendicular Bisector

Obtuse Triangle - Perpendicular Bisector

Acute Triangle - Perpendicular Bisector

Step 1 - Question

Are they the same? Yes the mesurements are the same, from the vertices to the circumcenter and from the sides to the circumcenter.

Step 2 - Question

What do you notice? I noticed that the distance is the same for each one of the trinagles are congruent.

Circumcenter Conjecture

The circumcenter of a triangle is equidistant from the vertices.
