Basic Three Point Perspective

This shows a translucent box in three point perspective. The three principal vanishing points are labeled , , and . The large diamond-shaped point constructed by intersecting the altitudes of the triangle is the point directly in front of the viewpoint, and the radius of the white circle is the viewing distance. Try moving the vanishing points and the box around. Note when the viewing distance is larger and the box is not far from the viewpoint, the box looks less distorted.
