Quick-return Mechanisms
These mechanisms are widely used on machine tools to give a slow cutting stroke followed by a fast return stroke with a constant-angular-velocity drive crank.
This mechanism is sensitive to small changes in the lengths of the links and the distance between the two rocker points.
