Statue of LIberty Problem

To get the best view of the Statue of Liberty you should be at a position where the viewing angle (green) is a maximum. If the statue is 92 meters high, including the 42 m high base it rests on, how far from the base should you be to get the best view? Move the point D to change your distance from the statue and see the resulting graph of the viewing angle vs. the distance from the base on the graph. You can change the height of the base and the statue by moving points B and C to see how those effect the best viewing angle.
