Local Linearity

Zoom in on a small neighborhood of a graph and see whether the function can be approximated by a line segment.
Drag the blue point on the function graph on the left. The boxed area is enlarged on the right. The slider "h" sets the size of the box to +/-h units in both horizontal and vertical directions around the point. The smaller you make h, the more "zoomed-in" you are.
