This applet can be used to experiment with fractions and develop a better understanding of the role of the denominator and the role of the numerator. Below are some possible activities:
- Create fractions with different numerators and denominators.
- Enter one fraction in the first two input boxes. Enter another fraction below it. Use the slider "Compare Fractions" to compare them.
