Equivalent fractions (ver 1)

This applet allows you to explore fractions with denominators 2, 4, 5, 10, 20 and 25 with equivalent fractions with denominator 100. 1) Click on the required checkbox Example: 2 parts for fractions with denominator 2 4 parts for fractions with denominator 4 … 2) Move the width and length buttons to obtain the number of shaded parts in Figure 2 3) Use the MOVE button on top to move Figure 2 to overlap with Figure 1 to make any comparison needed
