Perpendicular Bisectors

Perpendicular bisector

A perpindicular bisector is a line that intersects the midpoint of a segment and forms 90˚ angles at the midpoint. Any point on the perpendicular bisector will be equivalent from the endpoints of the segment.

Perpendicular bisectors of a triangle

The perpendicular bisectors of a triangle are concurrent and intersect at a point called the circumcenter. The circumcenter is equidistant from the vertices of the triangle. The circumcenter allows us to circumscribe a circle around the triangle. Current lines are three more lines that intersect at a single point.
