In the following applet :
Use following commands in the input bar to get the Lower and Upper sum.(Tech Tip:Start typing Lower(or Upper) in the input bar on the left side, the respective command will show up. Select it and enter the respective values.
LowerSum[ , , , ]
LowerSum[ f, x(A), x(B),n ]
UpperSum[ , , , ]
UpperSum[ f, x(A), x(B),n ]
Once you have the Upper and Lower sum created in the applet ,answer the questions in the corresponding sheet.
1)Drag the slider and complete the table in the worksheet(paper) provided.
2)Evaluate the integral using second fundamental theorem of calculus.
