Parrallel lines

Step 1

Open Geogebra.

Step 2

Create 2 Sliders (one vertical and one horizontal) HINT: Once you click on slider you must also select the slider tab!

Step 3

Create a formula for a straight line HINT: Type into the left side under your slider boxes "y=ax+b"

Step 4

Create a parallel line to the one you just created. HINT: Using the SAME formula and just adding or subtracting a constant eg. plus 3

Step 5 (BONUS)

Create a line that goes through the points y=6 and x=8. HINT: Points (0,6) and (8,0) Add a parallel line to it. Customise and have fun with it! :)
